DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
TourSA is a sales representative of parks, lodges, hotels, etc.; an inbound travel operator specialising in southern Africa; such as accommodation, transport, car rental, assisting information to your satisfaction.

DELIVERY POLICY
Subject to receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 1 working day and delivery confirmed by way of email confirmation and vouchers.

PAYMENT

Rates quoted in a foreign currency (e.g. USD) will be converted into ZAR at the applicable exchange rate at the time of payment.
Variable rates e.g. air fares; conservation levies etc. are subject to change without prior notification.
Do not e-mail your credit card details over the Internet as this could result in fraud beyond our control; please send completed credit card form and send per attachment
Kindly refrain from depositing CASH, as it attracts banking fees, which will be for you own account.

Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express credit cards or by bank transfer into the TourSA bank account.

Credit card acquiring and security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for TourSA via PayGate who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa.  PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website.  Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy. 

Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by TourSA separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site; for more detail refer to www.paygate.co.za

Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa.  Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

Responsibility
TourSA takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support.

Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and TourSA chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

All products represented are subject to availability at time of booking. Practical advice and details on dress, weather, etc, shall be provided after the reservations have been made.

There are no extra costs incurred when booking accommodation through us and you, the traveler, benefit as you receive personal value added service from our friendly and experienced consultants. We love our business and it shows in our commitment to you, the traveler.

AMENDMENT FEE

A minimum of R50.00 per booking will be charged for changes / amendments made within 45 days prior to travel.

CANCELLATIONS CLAUSE

Land Arrangements:

  • If canceling any booking or part thereof up to 65 days prior to arrival, the deposit will be forfeited.
  • If canceling any booking or part thereof between 50 days and 65 days there is a 50% cancellation fee.
  • If canceling any booking or part thereof within 50 days travel, there is a 100% cancellation fee.

Flight Arrangements:

  • There is a 25% cancellation fee for discounted tickets plus R90.00 per ticket.
  • Normal economy class tickets (i.e. no discount) have an administration fee of R120.00 per ticket.

Car Hire Arrangements:

  • If canceling any booking within 1 week of travel, there is a cancellation fee of 1 day’s rental.

Please note that you are advised to take malaria precautions when going into a malaria area. Please consult your doctor on this.

MEDICAL AND TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is strongly advised. You should be covered in the event of cancellation or curtailment, death, any medical or rescue expenses, as well as for any loss of baggage, money or personal items.
Zimbabwe is excluded for cancellation & curtailment cover.

PAYMENT

Once reservations have been confirmed, a non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to hold reservations. Full payment is required 8 weeks prior to travel and 45 days for groups.

Tipping and gratuities are not included in the cost of your safari/tour. You are welcome to tender an amount to the staff & guides. The average acceptable gratuity is 10% for services rendered.

VISAS

Please ensure that you have the correct visas for the countries you are visiting. To determine whether you require a visa to enter South Africa, visit the comprehensive South African Home Affairs Department website at: http://home-affairs.pwv.gov.za.


You are required to have a minimum of 2 blank pages in your passport to enable the entry visa into South Africa to be issued. If there is insufficient space in the passport, entry will be denied and you are likely to be detained pending return to your country of origin.

VOUCHERS

On receipt of your full payment, a detailed itinerary will be provided electronically, with vouchers, directions and what to see and do in areas being explored.

This booking and eventual contract between the client and TOURSA shall be deemed to be concluded in Cape Town, Republic of South Africa; and shall be interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of South Africa. In the event of any action hereunder, the Supreme Court of South Africa (Cape Town Local Division) shall have jurisdiction in regard thereto, not-with-standing that the amount of the claim may be within the jurisdiction of the Magistrate's Court.

AMENDMENT FEES

All amendments will attract a R50.00 fee.

AMENDMENT WHEN TRAVELLING

  • All National Parks: Once you have checked into your accommodation you are unable to make any changes. If you wish to change accommodation/camp, please enquire at reception PRIOR to booking in.
  • If an amendment is made while in the Park you will be held liable for all cancellation and amendment fees.

CANCELLATIONS / MODIFICATION CLAUSE

South African National Parks charge full cancellation fees on any amendment done within the 30 day cancellation period if the amendment is of a lesser value than the original booking.

  • No charge for cancellation 31 days and more before arrival date.
  • 50% of total cost for cancellations between 30 – 15 days before arrival date.
  • 100% of the total cost for cancellation between 14 – 0 days and on arrival date.
  • 100% of the total cost for any non-arrival.

Car hire arrangements

If canceling any booking within 1 week of travel, there is a cancellation fee of 1 day’s rental.

All products represented are subject to availability at time of booking. Practical advice and details on dress, weather, etc, shall be provided after the reservations have been made.

There are no extra costs incurred when booking accommodation through us and you, the traveler, benefit as you receive personal value added service from our friendly and experienced consultants. We love our business and it shows in our commitment to you, the traveler.

AGE LIMIT

The minimum age allowed for young guests varies according to the choice of game lodge.

AMENDMENT FEE

There will be a minimum charge of R50.00 per booking for changes / amendments made within 1 month prior to travel.

LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE

For safety and because space is restricted, baggage in charter aircrafts is limited to 10kg, comprising one soft luggage bag and a reasonable amount of photographic equipment per person.

It is compulsory for you to be insured for personal effects, personal accident, medical and emergency travel expenses, cancellation and curtailment. Ensure that you are covered before arriving in Southern Africa, as insurance cover is not obtainable locally.

The onus is upon the guest to ensure that passports and visas are valid for the countries visited. The company, their staff and their agents cannot be held liable for any visas not held by the guests nor for the cost of visas.
